Season of Creation
“Then justice will dwell in the wilderness
and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.
The effect of righteousness will be peace,
and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.”

Beginning tomorrow and continuing through the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi celebrated on Sunday, October 5, we join churches around the world in observing the Season of Creation, which runs the entire month of September. We will lift up the beauty and power of creation, and the need for all to care for one another, the earth and all her creatures. It is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation and commit to the healing of the earth that supports all life.
